Gassan Ahadme has been voted the Love Cambridge Player of the Month for March...
Despite only coming back for the final two games of the month, Ahadme had a huge impact upon his return from injury, most notably scoring in the victory at Barnsley on Good Friday.
Speaking to Cambridge Independent from the Fitzwilliam Museum, Ahadme said. “It makes me feel really good to win the award. It was a tough month for the club, but the last few games have been good.
“It’s great to be back playing and to be able to make an impact. It’s a good feeling.”
Player of the Month sponsors Love Cambridge is part of Cambridge BID, a collaboration of 1,200 businesses working together to promote and improve the city of Cambridge.
