28-year old centre-back Josh is the club’s longest serving player.
A local lad who, as a youngster, played for boys club Cherry Hinton Lions, he made his debut in black & amber during the 2007/08 season, having progressed through the youth ranks at United. A dominant presence within the rearguard and a threat at set pieces, Josh played his 200th league game for the side he watched as a schoolboy, in the Wembley Play-off Final win over Gateshead in May 2014, and subsequently pushed his overall tally to 300 during the 2015/16 season. Player of the Year in 2015, Josh penned a new deal midway through last season, marking his tenth year as professional with the club. Now contracted until the summer of 2018, an ankle injury picked up during the home fixture with Wycombe last November unfortunately keep him on the sidelines for the remainder of the campaign, but Josh has now returned to full fitness.
