Date of birth
Bedford-born Greg started out with Northampton Town before moving to Kettering in 2009, then Darlington in 2011.
However, with the Quakers in financial strife, Luton swooped for his services. Capable of playing anywhere across the backline, he made 38 appearances for Town but, following two temporary spells with Tamworth, finished the 2012/13 season with Conference Champions Mansfield. 28-year old Greg signed a two-year deal with United following his release from the Hatters, cemented the left full-back spot as his own and has since penned a further contract securing his services until June 2020. A calm and collective presence within the rearguard, he impressed all during the U’s FA Trophy, Football League promotion double of 2013/14, playing 60 games throughout the campaign. Greg, who established himself as a first-choice central defender last year and made a clean sweep of the U’s Player of the Season awards, has now surpassed 220 appearances for the club.
