Date of birth
Bedford-born Greg started out with Northampton before moving to Kettering then Darlington in 2011.
However, with the Quakers in financial strife, Luton swooped for his services. Capable of playing anywhere across the backline, he made 38 appearances for Town but, following two temporary spells with Tamworth, finished the 2012/13 season with Conference Champions Mansfield. 30-year old Greg signed a two-year deal with United following his release from the Hatters, cemented the left full-back spot as his own and then penned a further contract until June 2020. A calm and collective presence within the rearguard, he impressed all during the U’s FA Trophy, Football League promotion double of 2013/14, playing 60 games throughout the campaign. Greg, now a first-choice central defender, had amassed 300 appearances for the club by the close of last season, before agreeing a new one-year contract during the summer.
