Wesley Atkinson joins on loan
CAMBRIDGE United have completed the loan signing of Wesley Atkinson from West Bromwich Albion.
Atkinson, 20, who progressed through the Baggies Academy, joins the U's on a youth loan until 3rd January 2015.
Speaking to West Brom, Wesley said: "I'm really looking forward to joining Cambridge United. I struggled to sleep last night, I was both excited and nervous thinking about what is to come. My main aim is to help Cambridge, play well for them and show the fans what I can do."
The right sided defender who signed his first professional contract at the Hawthorns in May 2014, is available for selection when the U's travel to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
