Although the pitch at St James Park has been covered throughout the week, freezing temperatures over the past few nights and the long travel distance for the Cambridge United squad and supporters means that all parties have agreed to an early inspection.
The inspection is planned for 2pm on Friday 19 January and supporters will be updated once a decision has been reached.
