The U's Stadium Manager is raising money and awareness for Shout 85258 - the Club's Mental Health partner - by walking the equivalent distance from London to Qatar ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
That's an incredible six million steps or 3228 miles!
He is on-target to reach his goal ahead of this Saturday's match against Accrington during a public walk from Parkers Piece to the Abbey Stadium. All supporters are invited to join him and share in the moment of celebration.
If you would like to take part, meet Ian and the rest of the team by the football monument opposite Parkside Swimming Pool at 1:45pm for a 2pm departure, with arrival at the Abbey Stadium estimated for 2:40pm.
