As part of this Saturday's Level Playing Field Matchday, Cambridge United Walking Footballers will deliver a Half-Time demonstration on the pitch ahead of their upcoming Walking Football Marathon fundraiser...
The fundraiser - taking place at the Abbey Leisure Centre on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May 2022 - is a Walking Football Marathon, consisting of a 12 hour match played by two teams made up of players from the Trust’s seniors and disability football sessions.
To raise awareness for the Marathon fundraiser, a match will be played in-front of the half-time crowd at this weekend's Cambridge United vs MK Dons game.
Level Playing Field t-shirts will be proudly worn by the players to show support for the disability sports charity and all money raised will go towards supporting football sessions for individuals with disabilities.
