Cambridge United Community Trust are seeking a driven, energetic and ambitious individual to oversee our School Sport programme, which is at the core of our Education & Skills work...

Within our Education & Skills programmes, we seek to improve engagement, confidence and attainment in primary schools. We know there is significant educational inequality within our region and we want all within our community to have increased aspirations. We also know how sport can act as a vehicle to develop social values and we are seeking someone who can lead this School Sport programme into the next phase of our development.

We provide a high-quality sport education programme to thousands of children, young people and adults from across the region each week and over 50 schools have engaged in the programme in a variety of ways across the last year. This management role provides a highly motivated and dynamic individual the opportunity to manage 7 Community Coaches and the relationships with 20+ schools. As this position is a key appointment in our organisation, you will have the tenacity to achieve targets and the creativity to overcome obstacles. You will be a leader and have the ability to inspire and motivate people from all backgrounds and communities.

  • Responsible to: Education & Skills Manager
  • Contract: Full-Time (Part-time position available on discussion)
  • Salary: £22,000-£26,000 pro-rata
  • Closing date: 28th February 2022
  • Start date: Asap following notice period
