Academy Vacancies: U10's Coach & Part-Time Therapist

Cambridge United has two two new vacancies within its Academy...

The Academy Therapist will be a qualified Physio/Sports Therapist/ GSR, and will report directly to the Head of Medical Services and Lead Academy Physio. They will be responsible for the provision and delivery of Sports Therapy/Physiotherapy to the Academy schoolboy programme for ages 9-16.

This will involve covering training evenings and also the occasional weekend fixture

The successful candidate will be responsible for pitch side cover, as well as the assessment and treatment of injuries as required. They will also be responsible for liaising with the Lead Academy Physio, Head of Coaching and relevant age group coaches providing updates on injured players.

The Academy U10's Coach will ensure the Academy coaching philosophy and values are adhered to by coaches, players and parents. They will communicate effectively with the Foundation Phase Lead Coach and other supporting staff and support, plan and deliver training sessions to the U10’s age group.
