Cambridge United Academy are delighted to announce an exciting club partnership with five local clubs. The exciting club partnership see’s the academy formalise their strong links with Bishop Stortford, Haverhill Rovers, Letchworth GC Eagles, Newmarket Town & St Neots Town.
Cambridge United Academy believe that the strong links established with these five clubs will have a huge positive impact on both players and coaches alike.
Dom Knighton, Head of Academy Recruitment said: “We are delighted to be in a position as an Academy to announce this partnership with all five clubs. We are extremely passionate as an academy to support each club whether it is through Continuous Professional Development events ran by our specific academy departments or its through fixtures/festivals and tournaments. The partnership will also improve the integration process into our academy for talented players as well as supporting the player care process for players re-integrating into local football.”
Each club has assigned a Partner Club Liaison Officer who will work closely with Jake Hammond (Talent ID Officer) to ensure that the partnership goes from strength to strength. Cambridge United would like to thank each club for their support and look forward to enhancing what is already a very successful relationship with each club.
