Cambridge United are set to make their first away journey of the 2020/21 Sky Bet League Two season against Morecambe this weekend, and your support through iFollow will be crucial to the Football Club.
First and foremost, the games are simply not the same without supporters but to know U’s fans are watching and to have their backing from wherever they are in the world, will mean a huge deal to Mark Bonner’s side as they take to the field and look to build on their positive start to the season at the Globe Arena.
With fans still not able to attend fixtures, this of course has a dramatic effect financially given the loss of revenue usually generated from match days. Therefore, the Club cannot stress enough the difference U’s fans can make by purchasing match passes and watching the games live on iFollow this season. It is now a vital source of income in the current climate.
This season in League Two, the home team takes the revenue for the first 500 match pass sales for each fixture to replicate an average away attendance, whilst an additional sales on top of that are distributed towards the away team. That’s why it is important that when United are on the road this year, season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders buy their match passes.
With this in mind, Cambridge United are urging supporters far and wide to do their bit to help the Club out by simply watching the game on a Saturday afternoon. Whether you are a season ticket holder, a long-term supporter of the Club who usually attends games regularly, or perhaps you only get to the Abbey once or twice a season or you live abroad – we need our fanbase to mobilise and get behind the U’s each and every week on iFollow.
Match passes are just £10 for UK-based fans and £7 for overseas fans, and are available for every fixture. Season Ticket Holders are reminded they only need to buy match passes for away games, and receive home League fixtures for free as part of the ST package.

You will need to register an iFollow account via the Club website, prior to downloading the app to be able to login. You will also need to purchase match passes on the Club website to be able to watch the game via the app.
