CAMBRIDGE UNITED ANNOUNCE MENTAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN HEADS UP AS TRAININGWEAR PARTNER FOR 2020/21

29 May 2020

Heads Up, the football wide mental health campaign, will be the training and RDC kit partner for the 2020/21 season - with the campaign logo appearing on all training wear.

This has been made possible by private donations with the full support of the Cambridge United Board and approval of the FA and the Royal Foundation.

Godric Smith, Club Director and Chairman of the Heads Up Campaign, said: “We are proud of our work as a mentally healthy club over recent years. Attitudes to mental health are changing and football across the country has played a great role in helping drive this change during the Heads Up campaign. There is still more to do to encourage people to talk openly about their mental health and it has never been more important in light of the pressures of the Covid pandemic. We hope that by having Heads Up on our training kit next season we can encourage more of these conversations and help people support one another even more over the coming year.”

The training kit will be released in the coming weeks.
