Cambridge United are pleased to confirm the loan signing of Barnsley striker Victor Adeboyejo until the end of the season.
The 22-year old arrives from Oakwell having spent the first half of the campaign at League One side Bristol Rovers where he featured 30 times.
Beginning his career at Leyton Orient, the front man impressed over a number of loan spells at non-league clubs, before signing for Barnsley after a successful trial in 2017. He helped the Tykes to promotion from League One last term.
Commenting on the signing, United Head Coach, Colin Calderwood, said:
“He’s got strong physicality, he’s instinctive with the type of goals he scores and he’s got more than enough work rate, effort, energy and knowledge about the game to help the team”.
