Cambridge United can today confirm that John Taylor will no longer play a role in the first team setup at the Football Club.
We would like to thank John for his commitment and hard work during his short stint back involved.
It goes without saying that as the Club's leading goalscorer of the Football League era and as former Manager, John is a true Club legend having provided countless memories to U's fans down the years. Everyone at the Football Club has the greatest respect for John, and all that he has contributed towards Cambridge United's heritage.
He and his family are of course always welcome back at the Abbey Stadium.
