Congratulations to Cambridge United Women's FC, who last night prevailed in the cross city final of the Cambridgeshire FA Women's Invitation Cup against Cambridge City at the Abbey Stadium.
Goals from Amy Howlett and Becky Shephard in either half yesterday evening proved to be enough for Kevin Hoover's side who survived a late consolation goal from the Lilywhites to win 2-1 and lift the County Cup trophy.
