On the eve of the 2019/20 away shirt launch, Cambridge United are pleased to reveal the winning shirt as chosen by the Amber Army which has inspired away kit!
Back in November last year, the Club announced the launch of a vote on three previous designs worn by the U’s, with the shirt that accumulated the most votes providing the inspiration for the forthcoming campaign’s away apparel. United Supporters had the choice of the following three kits to vote from:
Option 1 - 1993-94 Away Shirt
Option 2 – 1996-98 Away Shirt
Option 3 – 1999-2000 Away Shirt

Over 840 votes were cast by the Amber Army, who chose option 1 from the 1993/94 season which amassed 50% of the vote.
Since then, Cambridge United have worked very closely with new Technical Partner hummel to ensure the Club have been able deliver on its promise to our supporters of producing a bespoke kit which includes features of 93/94 jersey selected by U's fans.
The 2019/20 Cambridge United Away Shirt will be unveiled tomorrow!
