On behalf of Cambridge United’s Board of Directors, Shaun Grady has provided supporters with a reassurance that discussions regarding ownership and future investment at the Football Club are ongoing.
Grady commented: “Given the statement made at the AGM that additional funding was available to support the Club until the end of June the Board wants to reassure fans that advanced discussions over ownership and future investment are continuing. The Board met on Friday and restated its overriding objective to make the right decision for the long term future of Cambridge United. We remain hopeful these talks can bring financial security to the Club.
“We will give an update at the earliest possible opportunity and in the meantime everyone at the Club is continuing to plan for what we hope will be a successful season ahead.”
