Cambridge United are delighted to be able to offer supporters discounted away travel for all August league and cup fixtures as we countdown to our 2019/20 season kick-off.
Adults can make the return journey to Valley Parade for our opening EFL2 fixture for just £20, with return journeys to Brentford and Colchester available to purchase for just £15. Under 18's can take advantage of a reduced rate of just £10 for each of our first three away games.
The 2019/20 season will see a simpler, reduced pricing structure in place for all away games, with adults either paying £35, £25 or £20 depending on distance and under 18’s paying a rate of just £15 for all away games, with Season Ticket Holders able to save a further 10%.
Commenting on the new pricing structures, United’s Retail & Ticketing Manager, Gareth Daniels, said:
“We want to help as many fans as possible support us on the road this coming season. Following a number of meetings with supporters in the close season, we have taken on board feedback and suggestions around away travel, which we have begun to implement. We will also be trialling an additional pick up point at Brampton Hut for our fixtures at Bradford and Port Vale, and, if successful we will continue with this pick up point for northern and midland games throughout the 19/20 season.”
“We recognise that supporting United on the road can be expensive, and we hope by reducing prices and having a simplified pricing structure can encourage more of our fans to do so. The Club does not make profit on away travel and we are keen to make it an enjoyable and affordable service as possible.”
“Following our successful quid-a-kid home games and the £10 Junior U Season Ticket, we have set a flat rate of £15 for all under 18’s. We recognise that we have a large junior fan base and hope that this will enable more juniors to join us on the road”
