Programme Preview:

Looking at the U’s current form, whilst disappointed with the nature of the results and United’s current positioning, Brown maintains a positive outlook and focusses on moments such as the late equaliser against Mansfield last time out at the Abbey as a sign of the character that will allow the team to improve.

“If we look at the season so far, we have been ridiculously unlucky in some ways, whilst we know that we have not been good enough in areas too.

“I missed the start of the season, but the games we’ve been involved in, it comes down to us not taking chances and then conceding when we shouldn’t have done.

“I still think the last home game was massive because we came back and got the equaliser when it looked as if the game might have got away. I do think once we finish a few more of those chances and tighten up at the back, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with.

“We must stick together, and keep concentrated on what we can do well and show guts like we did in the Mansfield game to turn results our way.”
