United To Mark Remembrance Sunday

9 November 2018

CAMBRIDGE United players and supporters will be marking Remembrance Sunday when the U's travel to Guiseley in the FA Cup First Round this weekend.

U's fan, Jamie Cranwell, has created over 300 poppies that will be handed out for travelling fans to display during the minutes silence at Nethermoor Park, alongside a flag with a poigniant image and the words 'Lest we forget... CUFC Remembers.'

United players will also be wearing poppies on the chest of their shirts for this fixture, which will be available for auction, with proceeds of the sales donated to the Royal British Legion.
