Cambridge United can confirm that the pre-season friendly against Billericay Town on Friday 20th July has been cancelled, and that U’s will now instead face Braintree Town at Cressing Road.
Joe Dunne’s men were set to travel to Billericay the night before facing Millwall at the Abbey Stadium, but due to complications with the pitch at New Lodge will instead make the trip to fellow Essex outfit Braintree Town, for a 7:30pm kick off.
Meanwhile, the Club can also report one further update in that the kick off time for United’s trip to Dagenham & Redbridge on Wednesday 25th July will now be 7:30pm, and not 7:45pm as previously documented.
The U’s return to the Abbey Stadium for the first time against Millwall on Saturday 21st July, with tickets now on sale online, in-store and by calling 01223 566 500.
