Cambridge United can confirm that striker Ade Azeez has joined National League side Dover Athletic on an initial one month loan deal.
Azeez, 24, who signed for the U’s in the summer on a two year deal, has featured 16 times for United so far season and moves to the Lilywhites to gain further match minutes.
Cambridge United Head of Football, Ben Strang commented: “Ade hasn’t had much playing time of late and this loan move helps him gain crucial match fitness.
“Ade is still very much a highly valued member of the squad, who has a positive future ahead at the club. However as with every player he needs playing minutes and we will monitor his games closely.”
Azeez switches in time to be eligible for Dover’s away trip to AFC Fylde on Saturday afternoon.
