Cambridge United can confirm midfielder Lee Watkins has joined Mildenhall Town on an initial one month loan deal.
The youngster, who featured a number of times for the U’s during pre-season and signed his first professional contract at the Club ahead of the summer, switches to the Bostik League side to gain further experience in senior men’s football.
He arrives in time to be available for selection in Mildenhall’s opening League game against Maldon & Tiptree tomorrow afternoon.
