With better times ahead, U’s supporters are urged to enjoy the season’s finale at home to Port Vale, Saturday 5th May, Kick Off – 3pm, and official kit-sponsor Mick George Ltd are pulling out all the stops to ensure it is a memorable occasion for a couple of the club’s younger supporters.
While the goal of promotion hasn’t been accomplished this time around, the recent changes throughout the club are certainly geared towards ensuring that this trend doesn’t continue in to the forthcoming season.
One child has the opportunity to be mascot for the match. The selected mascot will join the team for a warm up and then lead the team out onto the pitch ahead of kick-off. Other highlights will include meeting the players, having a tour of the changing rooms and collecting autographs and photographs.
