CENTURY MAN LEON LEGGE THANKS THE AMBER ARMY FOR THEIR SUPPORT HAVING NOW CLOCKED 100 APPEARANCES FOR UNITED.
The hulking defender is delighted to have reached the milestone for the U’s, and says it has been something on his radar in recent weeks.
Legge said: “I’ve actually been counting my appearances up in the programme in recent games. I spotted 98, and then 99 appearances in the programme a few weeks back and to now be at 100 appearances is a good landmark for my time here at the Club.
“The two and a bit years that I have been at Cambridge United have flown by to be honest. I’ve played a lot of games, a lot of minutes in the last couple of seasons and I’m looking forward to getting plenty more in the future as well.
“Through that time as well it’s always been great to know that the Cambridge United fans have had my back, so a big thank you to them.
“The 100 appearances at this Club does mean something to me.”
