Cambridge United are delighted to welcome Ethos as the Club’s official Website and Match Ball partners for the 2017/18 season.
Ethos have over twenty five years’ experience of delivering services and solutions across the three main forces of business communications: Voice, Documents & Data. Over 4,000 customers regard Ethos as part of their extended team – a single point of contact for their managed print services, telephony systems, mobile networks and IT requirements.
Following the launch of the U’s new-look Club website, Cambridge United are delighted to proudly display the Ethos branding across the online platform as official sponsors.
This new partnership will also see Ethos play a key role on match day next season, as the match ball partners for the duration of the Sky Bet League Two campaign, with a branded mat and match-ball plinth displayed at all fixtures.
As part of this match-ball sponsorship, Ethos will be selecting a Community Hero of the Day for each match next season who will be invited to the game courtesy of Ethos, and have a number of exclusive match-day experiences at Cambridge United. This includes delivering the match ball to the referee before kick-off, featuring in the match day programme and an interview with the match day announcer on the pitch.
Details about how Cambridge United supporters can put forward nominations for this opportunity will be released in due course.
Delighted to be on board with Cambridge United, Ethos Business Development Director Tony Collard commented: “Here at Ethos we see this sponsorship as the starting point for a very exciting long term relationship with the U’s.
“We are delighted to be the match ball and web site sponsor for the forthcoming season. Both Ethos and the U’s share very similar values and ethics. Our heartfelt desire is to support the club as they continue to develop both on and off the pitch.
“These are exciting times for the club, the city and our business. All of us are growing and want to support each other as we progress. During the course of the season we will make our extensive selection of print and telephony offerings available to the supporters and sponsors of the club.
“We wish everybody associated with the U’s a successful and fulfilling 2017/2018 season.”
Henry Comfort, Cambridge United Business Operations Manager, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Ethos to Cambridge United as a significant partner of the Club. Sponsorship deals such as these are vital in supporting the ambitions of our Club, and we are therefore thankful to Ethos for their support. Ethos have also seen the substantial commercial benefits derived from a partnership with Cambridge United, as they have developed a number of mutually beneficial relationships with our other official partners, and members of the wider business community who are engaged with Cambridge United.
"It is clear that Ethos are a really innovative and ambitious company, who seek to do things excellently. As we have developed a relationship with Ethos over the past 6 months, the alignment between our values has been incredibly apparent. We now look forward to formally working with Ethos, and continuing to develop this relationship long into the future."
