STADIUM READY FOR AMBER ARMY RETURN

15 July 2017

The Cambs Glass Stadium is ready for a return to match action and the Amber Army this afternoon against Norwich City!

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Club's Groundsmen Ian Darler and Mick Brown, the playing surface is in perfect shape for the U's return.

Meanwhile, the Club would also like to thank every single volunteer who gave up their time this week in the operation to ensure the ground is spick and span for all supporters arriving at the Cambs Glass Stadium today.

Led by CFU and Dave Matthew-Jones, every single seat in the ground has been scrubbed clean and all concourses swept, with Chairman Dave Doggett also getting involved in the operation.

Finally the Memorial Garden, previously located at the rear of the Newmarket Road End, has been moved by CFU to a more peaceful area of the ground behind the North Habbin Stand.

A huge thank you to all from Cambridge United.
