The U's Under 15s/16s welcome Arsenal to the Cambs Glass Stadium on tonight (Kick off 7pm) for the latest Academy clash on the first team pitch!
Following on from the successful fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea in the past 18 months, United will host another exciting fixture against the Gunners, who are coached by none other than former Premier League winner Freddie Ljungberg.
The match provides yet another opportunity for supporters to get behind the Club’s oldest schoolboy age group on the first team playing surface, against some of the best young players in the country.
The most recent fixture against Tottenham Hotspur in October last year saw 1,067 fans attend a superb evening, in which the young U’s side responded with an excellent display to hold the Premier League outfit to 2-2 draw.
In order to give the players the best possible experience on the night, the club is urging Cambridge United supporters to attend the latest fixture, as we aim to break the 1,000 barrier once more.
