PROGRAMME PREVIEW: YEOVIL TOWN

Read a sneak preview of tonight’s match programme, by reading a snippet of Uche Ikpeazu’s Player Q & A feature here!

Having scored his first goal for the U’s in Newport on Saturday, the hulking striker caught up with the official match programme and has also signed 30 copies which will be distributed around the ground randomly tonight.

Check out the preview here:

Getting that first League win on the board must have felt pretty good on Saturday?

Yeah it was a great win for the team and it was the team work that led to the three points. Obviously it was great to get that first goal under the belt as well, but the main thing was that it helped towards getting the right result.

We don't want to pay too much attention to our League position but of course we knew that we needed a win. We worked really hard in training towards that win and it's great that it has paid off. However, we need to continue that and use the momentum going into the next couple of games.

How much character do you feel you all had to show to get the victory over Newport?

We knew that we had to dig in. Going a goal behind happens in football, in fact that's what was said at half time, every single one of us will have experienced going a goal behind but coming back to win.

It was all about how we reacted, and that was great on Saturday in the second half. We put in a real shift and deserved the three points. We're all men and have been through situations like this before, so we'll draw on all those experiences.
