CAMBRIDGE UNITED REVEAL EXCITING OLYMPIC SCHOOLS

Over 50 children enjoyed the first ever trial of Cambridge United’s Olympic school at Chesterton this week, with a full course of the multi-sport programme set to be rolled out during the October half-term school holidays.

Wednesday's trial gave children aged 4-12 years old the chance to sample a range of track & field events, take part in numerous invasion games and try their hand at many different individual events too!

The likes of New-age curling proved to be a massive hit during a day that offered children the chance to try out several new sports and enjoy a little taste of the Olympic fever, following the huge success of Team GB during the recent games in Rio. Other sports include the hurdles, archery, hockey and javelin!

Running alongside the U’s Soccer Schools programme, the October school holidays will provide the next opportunity for boys and girls aged 4-12 to take part in a full week of the Olympic schools programme.

Enjoy a brief snippet of the Olympic Schools here.

Like the ever-popular Soccer Schools, the Olympic schools offer affordable and safe child care with our qualified Youth Development coaches for just 25 per day.

Places are limited and expected to become fully subscribed very quickly so book your place online here or call 01223 566 500 (Option 4) for more information.
