Having already secured a play-off position, Cambridge United Futsal Club play their final game of the season against Kettering this Sunday (K.O. 3:00pm) with a strong possibility of lifting the League title!The U’s currently sit at the summit of the National Futsal League Midlands Division Two table, and providing they can avoid a 19 goal swing on goal difference with their nearest rivals University of Gloucestershire, Luis Mendonca’s side will be crowned champions at the University of Cambridge Sports Centre.
The club is encouraging as many fans as possible to attend the game and back the U’s, as they aim to round off an already incredible opening season in amber and black.
Having taken the League by storm so far and players Toby Hardwick and Monty Bouttell both recently receiving call ups to the National FA Futsal Centre of Excellence at under 19 level, the League title would complete a fine campaign.
