LEVEL FOUR EDUCATION PROGRAMME OPEN EVENING TONIGHT

1 June 2016

LEVEL FOUR EDUCATION PROGRAMME

Cambridge United will host an open evening for the Level 4 Education Programme at 7pm this evening in the Premier Travel Hospitality Suite.

The Level Four Education Programme is an excellent opportunity for anyone striving for a career in sport. CUFC have teamed up with Cambridge Regional College to enhance an existing Higher education course and this partnership will now see participants given the chance to put their knowledge and studies into practice while gaining invaluable field experience.

The evening will enable candidates to learn more information about the programme and the coaching aspect, as well as providing an open floor for any questions/conversations to staff from both Cambridge United and Cambridge Regional College.

The evening will begin at 7pm and finish around 8:30pm.

Coaching opportunities with Cambridge United will be appropriate to the qualifications and level of experience of the candidate. All students will have an opportunity to shadow Cambridge United Youth Development coaches at extra-curricular school sport clubs. These will be timetabled sessions.

When appropriate, students may be asked to deliver sessions alone. When delivering the session as a lead coach, Cambridge United may deem it appropriate to pay the student for their delivery.

This decision will be based on the delivery and personal characteristics of the student. Upon completion of the course, Cambridge United hope to offer students opportunities for continued paid coaching or indeed full-time coaching positions with the club.

To find out more about the course please visit the Cambridge Regional College website by clicking here. To book your place please contact Max Mattless by email on max.mattless@cambridge-united.co.uk.
