STADIUM SIGNAGE ERECTED TO MARK BEGINNING OF SIGNIFICANT CAMBS GLASS PARTNERSHIP FOR U'S

Cambridge United's collaboration with new stadium naming rights partner Cambs Glass Ltd is now officially underway.

Signage has this week been installed around the ground to signify the start of the new deal, which will see Cambridge United supporters welcomed back for the pre-season fixtures taking place later this month to the Cambs Glass Stadium.

The club announced in April that the local architectural glazing and roof lights company, had substantially stepped up their existing commercial involvement with Cambridge United to become the U's official stadium naming rights partner.

Meanwhile, the significantly enhanced deal also includes sponsorship of the club's high-end hospitality room, which has been renamed the Cambs Glass Lounge.

Chairman Dave Doggett welcomes Adam Eagle of Cambs Glass to the Stadium.

Thrilled to see the partnership up and running, Cambridge United Business Development Operations Manager Liz Slack commented: "Today marks the start of a new chapter for the Football Club and I'm delighted that the home for football here in Cambridge will now be played at the Cambs Glass Stadium.

"Cambs Glass are a local company and the directors of the business are true fans and completely understand the opportunity but also the sensitivity that comes with a partnership of this nature.

"The agreed deal has been structured in a way that provides enormous benefits to the club and will ensure that Cambs Glass are associated with Cambridge United for the long-term."

Meanwhile Adam Eagle, Managing Director of Cambs Glass Ltd stated the glazing company were equally delighted to see the partnership off the ground and added: "Seeing the new stadium signage installed is a delight to all involved at Cambs Glass.

"It marks the start of a long-term association with Cambridge United Football Club.

"Like the U's we have ambitious growth and development plans for the year ahead and seeing the new stadium signage erected is a significant point in the history of Cambs Glass. With our new factory showroom on Elizabeth Way due to open in August, we can't wait for the new season to kick-off."
