Derry Nominated for Manager of the Month
Cambridge United Manager Shaun Derry has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month award, following a run of three wins and a draw at the end of 2015.
The U’s are now sat in 11th position, and just three points off the play-off places.

Derek Adams (Plymouth Argyle)
Adams kept calm when his side’s first blip this season coincided with injuries to key players. A 2-1 victory at Hartlepool restored confidence and fluency as Argyle ended 2015 with three wins from four to regain leadership of Sky Bet League 2.
Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe Wanderers)
Ainsworth has perfected the art of staying patient when results dip. He halted a mini-slide by leading his side to three wins over the festive period, giving them 10 points from five games and the impetus to move back into the promotion places.
Darrell Clarke (Bristol Rovers)
Clarke guided his side through a stellar December to collect 13 points from five unbeaten games with a 10-2 goal differential. He has hitched his side’s passing style to the passion which has made the Memorial Ground a fortress.
Shaun Derry (Cambridge United)
Derry has made a remarkable impact, giving his new charges the belief to climb back towards the Play-Off places. The highlight of their three wins and a draw in four games was a 2-1 victory at leaders Plymouth Argyle.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
