PROGRAMME TEASE: DREAM TEAM WITH ROBBIE SIMPSON

22 January 2016

Hartlepool United - Match Day Programme Preview

Ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Hartlepool United at the Abbey Stadium, Cambridge-United.co.uk is giving the Amber Army a sneak preview of tomorrow’s match day programme.

For just £3, U’s fans can enjoy an exclusive interview with Ben Williamson before his first game back in the city, as well as columns with Shaun Derry, Dave Doggett and Jez George. Also read about this week’s Legend’s Wall player Brendon Batson and find out which players U’s striker Robbie Simpson picked for his Dream Team.

Check out a preview of Simpson’s best XI here:

Aron Gunnarsson
Aron came over to Coventry City from AZ as a 19 year old but started smashing lads from day one. He’s now captain of Iceland and off to the Euros later this year.

Jordan Henderson
Jordan lived in the flat opposite me when he came on loan to Coventry from Sunderland. He is probably the hardest working player I've played ever with and he has now been rewarded with captaining one of the biggest clubs in football at Liverpool.

Anthony Pilkington
Played with Anthony at Huddersfield before Norwich bought him. He is the most naturally two footed player I've ever seen, capable of taking corners and free kicks equally as good with either foot.

Jordan Rhodes
His movement in the box is by far and away the best I have seen. He might be quiet for large parts but he is always more than likely to score. Pure finisher and one of the nicest blokes in football.

Also included in this week’s edition are the usual quizzes, posters, and Junior U’s fun & games, whilst Neil Cole takes a look Around the Division. We also bring fans some exciting news about an Academy game against Premier League opposition at the Abbey Stadium coming soon and there’s a fact file on new signing James Dunne.

United marksman Ben Williamson has signed 30 copies which will distributed randomly around the ground, so be sure to pick up a programme to be in with a chance of winning!

Tickets for the game will be available online until 1:30pm with supporters able secure tickets from the club shop/ticket office on Newmarket Road right up until kick off at 3pm.
