Cambridge United Academy 10 Year Anniversary Match!
Cambridge United’s U16s will be in action at the Abbey Stadium in two weeks’ time against Premier League big boys Chelsea, and they need your support as the club celebrate ten years since the re-opening of youth development programme!
The U’s are delighted that the Blues have agreed to play in the third and final Academy clash staged at the Abbey Stadium this season on Thursday 5th May (K.O. 7:00pm).
Following on from the successful fixtures against Tottenham Hotspurs (October 2015) and Liverpool (February), in which over 900 supporters turned out to back the Under 16s, the club is now aiming to break the 1,000 barrier!
As well as the chance to watch the cream of the club’s schoolboy age groups, supporters will also have the opportunity to watch take a selection of not only the country’s most talented young players, but some of the best youngsters in the world!
Those who attended the Liverpool match will have witnessed the talent within Cambridge United’s ranks in a 2-2 draw and the Chelsea match provides another opportunity to proudly back the club’s young players.
