The U’s striker has signed 30 copies of today’s match day programme which will be distributed to programme sellers randomly across the ground, meaning that all supporters have to do to win is purchase one for just £3.

Sneak preview of the main feature article below:

CAMBRIDGE UNITED STRIKER ROBBIE SIMPSON FEELS THE U’S CAN BE REAL FORCE IN LEAGUE TWO THIS SEASON AND ALONGSIDE HIS TEAMMATES IS WORKING HARD IN TRAINING TO HIT THEIR EXCITING POTENTIAL.

The 30-year old admits that results so far have probably been a reflection on the U’s start to the season, but hard work on the training pitch has been high on the agenda, as United display a determination to hit their potential in a run of tough Football League fixtures.

“We’re still striving and working hard to find that consistency and I think we’ve shown in patches that we can really be a force in this league this season,” he said.

“We do have some tough games coming up, but it is Leyton Orient that we have our sole focus on.

“The game is a great chance for us especially at home to really show that we can stamp some authority on the League, given that we are playing against top of the league.

“Our home form is particularly important to us.”

Meanwhile, columns from Chairman Dave Doggett, Chief Executive Jez George and Manager Richard Money are all included, as well as the usual stats, Player Q & A with Conor Newton and Junior U’s section.

The publication also includes an update from Football Development Manager James Cutting, Academy news and of course Pat Morgan’s latest 100 Years of Coconuts piece which this week reveals an exciting discovery of an old replica of the Jules Rimet Trophy at the Abbey Stadium.

Available around the ground for just £3, be sure to pick up a copy!
