Two weeks to go!
The start of the first block of CUYD Soccer Centres and Soccer Tots is now less than two weeks away, with places becoming limited across a number of regional venues.
Whether it’s the weekly one hour sessions with the club’s FA qualified coaches for further development on the Soccer Centres or an introduction to the beautiful game for Soccer Tots, Cambridge United has the programme to suit your child.
Children aged between 5-12 years old have the opportunity to enjoy weekly one hour training sessions with the club’s FA qualified youth development coaches, on the Xtreme Soccer sponsored Soccer Centres.
Taking place at ten locations across the area, the training allows participants to further develop their technical abilities and offers a progression route through to the entry level of the club’s gifted and talented programme, the Regional Development Centres
Beginning on Monday 14th September, those interested can book a place at the following link for the first ten week block of the season, with further blocks set to follow in December and March 2016.
Meanwhile, the Soccer Tots programme which begins Saturday 19th September, offers a similar ten week block of sessions; providing children aged between 2-6 years old the opportunity to take their first steps in football.
Participants will learn about the basic techniques of the sport through a succession of fun story-based football games, whilst also developing their literacy and numeracy skills. A free Cambridge United Soccer Tots t-shirt and ball will also be given out free to every player that takes part.
Once again delivered by the Cambridge United Youth Development coaches, who are all CRB/DBS checked, Soccer Tots really is the perfect introduction to football.
Kicking off at the first four venues in Bottisham, Cambourne, Chesterton and Sawston, time is running out to secure your child a place on the full first ten week block. Click here to book a place now.
