The event will take place at the Abbey Stadium on the afternoon of the 5th November with the lucky fan competing against the pro in 10 different exciting challenges, including:

•    Closest to bullseye
•    Question of sport
•    The McVitie's cracker challenge
•    Table tennis
•    Any many more

To register your interest, please visit www.mickgeorge.co.uk/challengeapro. The competition is only open to fans over the age of 16 and the lucky winner will be picked in a random draw at 5pm on Friday 30th October.

The Mick George ‘Challenge a Pro’ competition will be filmed and in the subsequent months that follow CUFC supporters will get the opportunity to win prizes by guessing the correct winner of each of the ten challenges.

Jon Stump, Finance Director at Mick George said:  “We are always looking for the chance to use our sponsorship partnership with the club to benefit supporters. The recent FIFA16 competition was well received so we were keen to extend the offering to the next level. It’s not everyday that you get the chance to compete with a professional footballer but the ‘Challenge a Pro’ competition provides an opportunity for one lucky U’s fan to test themselves against their heroes.’’

Stump continued: ‘’We’ve put a lot of thought into the various challenges which will test a different range of skills and techniques. The talk around the dressing room is that Liam is not taking any chances with this and is putting the extra hours in to make sure he is ready for the competition.”

*Terms and conditions apply. All entries must be received before 5pm on 30th October via the email address provided. The winner will be picked at random on 30th October 2015 at 5pm and the competition will take place on the afternoon of the 5th November. Competition is only open to fans over the age of 16.
