U’S SURPASS 1,500 SEASON TICKET MARK!

United Notch Up 1,500th Season Ticket Holder

Cambridge United have cruised through the 1,500 barrier for 2015/16 season ticket sales with two months still to go until the start of the new season!

Earlier this week Cambridge-United.co.uk announced that the club were approaching the 1,500 milestone, and it seems the launch of the club’s 2015/16 home shirt last night has led many supporters to secure their place for the forthcoming campaign.

The 2015/16 jersey is now available to pre-order online, with those who reserve before Monday 13th July able to collect the shirt from one of the U’s new signings next month.

The recent signing of striker Barry Corr, who officially revealed the new kit yesterday, has also sparked a spike in sales for season tickets from the Amber Army, with supporters now set the challenge of reaching the 2,000 mark come the start for the new season by Chief Executive Jez George.

“The business has grown hugely in the last 12 months and we have created a sustainable structure. We have looked at the budgets for next year and conservatively estimated our attendances and season ticket sales,” he said.

“One way supporters can continue to help us invest in the team is to carry on buying their season tickets.

“We have now reached the 1,500 mark and it would be fantastic if we were able to increase that number further and achieve 2,000 season ticket holders before the start of the season. That figure would be well ahead of where we had initially budgeted.

“We want that to be the story, because not only are we aiming to have a successful side on the pitch but we want the city of Cambridge to support that team as well.

“The more people get behind Cambridge United, attend pre-season fixtures and buy season tickets, then the more opportunities it opens up for the club to strengthen the squads moving forward.”

As the anticipation continues to bubble up for the U’s attack on League Two next season make sure you don’t miss out on your preferred area of the ground and purchase your season ticket before it is too late.

Along with guaranteeing your place to all 23 of the U’s Football League fixtures next season, season ticket holders will also receive a host of added benefits as part of their package, which include the following:

• Huge reduction on individual match day prices
• Priority purchase on all FA Cup, League Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Matches
• Priority purchase on away Sky Bet League Two fixtures
• Exclusive offers from Cambridge United retail in-store and online during next season
• 10% discount on official club coach travel to away fixtures
