PICK UP A FREE PRE-SEASON PROGRAMME TOMORROW!

16 July 2015

Check out a sneak preview of the new programme!

As a special welcome back gesture to the Amber Army, United supporters will receive a free edition of the all-new match day programme upon arrival at the Abbey Stadium for tomorrow’s pre-season clash with Norwich City (7.30pm).

Included in the publication are features with Manager Richard Money, Chairman Dave Doggett and Chief Executive Jez George, whilst Cambridge-United.co.uk are offering U’s supporters an exclusive sneak preview of the feature article with new signing Barry Corr right now:

An aspect of the United regime that Corr explains he has particularly warmed to, has been the club’s approach towards instilling the philosophy of Cambridge United across all departments. The marksman is hopeful that this can play a major contributing factor in the direction of the club moving and a winning formula.

“We all have received leaflets about the philosophy and core values of the club, and they are very impressive with how much detail has been put into them,” said Corr.

“That is certainly something I enjoy and attracted me to this club. As players the philosophy mainly ensures we all have a bit of class about ourselves, as we know that we have a fantastic opportunity to represent Cambridge United and all it stands for.

“Within those leaflets as well, the manager has let us know exactly what he expects from us and outlines how he wants us to perform.”

He continued: “The most important aspects for any side that want to be successful in this League I think, are ability and a manager with a philosophy. We have both of those things.

“When you add the experience that the club has brought in this summer, that counts for a lot as well, because by having players that have played and got out of this league before certainly gives you an extra edge.”

“Character is also vital. This is a tough division and to win games in League Two a side has to be able to battle hard, graft and fight for every point.”

Pick up your copy and also enjoy a quirky feature with Josh Coulson, read updates on the happenings across all departments of the club, including the Academy, Youth Development and the latest Commercial opportunities with the U’s

Whilst Half-time teasers, a section dedicated to Junior U’s and a Who’s Who guide to the club’s newest signing all feature!

Tickets for the game are still available at the following link, whilst those hoping to walk up on the night are informed that tickets will only be available from the ticket office on Newmarket Road before the game and not the turnstiles.

The U’s are coming home!
