Following three consecutive League wins, Shaun Derry’s side have begun to march up the Sky Bet League Two ladder and currently sit just four points from the final play-off spot, occupied by this afternoon’s opponents Mansfield Town.

However, United’s 30-year old marksman feels that the real positive has been from the manner in which the U’s have put the points on the board with a series of high energy, forward thinking and clinical performances.

Corr said: “It’s important we keep our current momentum going for as long as possible. The new manager has come in and I think there is a real excitement around the place at the moment.

“At a particular stage of the season it does become about winning games and getting points on the table. However if you are not playing well, that will always catch up with you.

“I think that the real positive has been not only have we won the last three games, the performances have all been very good, including the game we lost against Doncaster in the cup. I think that is a great sign.

“In fact the performances are a sign of a good team, and with a lot of the season still to go, I think it’s important we continue to produce good displays. There is a clear correlation between playing well and securing results.

“The Manager has emphasized the point that when the levels are high, you’ll win more games than you lose.”

Also in this week’s edition, Leon Legge reveals a talent for mental arithmetic in the Player Q & A, 100 Years of Coconuts reflect in the career of former Cambridge United stalwart Andy Duncan who will be making an appearance at the match and we profile the visitors Mansfield Town.

The usual columns with Dave Doggett, Shaun Derry and Jez George all feature too. Pick up a copy for just £3!
