Bumper Crowd Expected For Season Opener
The anticipation for the U’s opening Football League fixture of the 2015/16 season against Newport County this Saturday continues to build, with the Newmarket Road End of the Abbey Stadium nearing capacity.
Demand for tickets has continued steadily throughout this week, with just 400 tickets now remaining in the Newmarket Road End for the encounter against the Exiles. The club expect the stand to sell out before close of play on Friday and therefore advise supporters to purchase in advance.
As well as securing a £2 discount off full match day prices, U’s fans that purchase their tickets in advance can ensure they do not miss out on their preferred area of the ground.
Following a rigorous pre-season schedule the U’s finally kick off their 2015/16 Football league campaign, in front of what is expected to be a bumper crowd at the Abbey Stadium this Saturday.
