Abbey United take on West Ham in Final of London Cup
CAMBRIDGE United fans team, Abbey United, take on West Ham United fans team on Friday 10th April, in the final of the London Cup.Abbey United's first ever cup final will take place at Hertford Town's Hartingfordbury Park, kicking-off at 7:45pm.
Ryan Johnson, Manager of Abbey United, is anticipating an exciting game: "In our second year in this competition we've made the final, which is a very proud achievement for myself and the team. We faced Barnet and AFC Wimbledon in the group stage and got past Dagenham & Redbridge in the Semi Final 7-3 to earn our place. I've run the team for two and a half years now and this is our first ever final as a club and I couldn't be prouder or more grateful to the players that have been a part of our journey, whether they are in the squad for the final or not they have each been a huge part of it all for us. I hope to see many fellow U's fans down at Hertford Town to come a cheer us on and hopefully give us the extra lift in our chase for glory."
