U's development squad to participate in Final Third Development League in 2014/15.
CAMBRIDGE United's development squad will be participating in the Final Third Development League in the 2014/15 season.The U's will be competing in the newly formed Southern Division, alongside Portsmouth, AFC Bournemouth, Peterborough, Leyton Orient, Gillingham, AFC Wimbledon and Luton.
Director of Football, Jez George, said: "We are delighted to be participating in the Final Third Development League. It will provide not only a good link between the youth and first-team for our young professionals and development players, but also for any first-team payers in need of match minutes. We will create our own fixture programme for this group of players, of which the Final Third Development League will play an integral part."
