Cambridge United

CAMBRIDGE United are holding trials for all levels of their youth development system for the 2014-15 season this summer.

The trials are for boys only and predominantly the U6-U12 age groups (current season age groups). A trial for U13-U15 players will also be held. All trials are for both outfield players and goalkeepers. A specific goalkeeping session will be held separately from the outfield trial at the same time and location.

The trials will be held at Hinchingbrooke School and Linton Village College for U6-U12 players and Abbey Pool AstroTurf in Cambridge for U13-16's. The full details for the trials are listed below.

U6 - U12 Players

Monday 30th June -  Hinchingbrooke School, PE29 3BN - 6-7pm.  Tuesday 1st July - Linton Village College, CB21 4JB - 6-7pm

Monday 28th July -  Hinchingbrooke School, PE29 3BN - 6-7pm.  Tuesday 29th July - Linton Village College, CB21 4JB - 6-7pm

Monday 25th August -  Hinchingbrooke School, PE29 3BN - 6-7pm.  Tuesday 26th August - Linton Village College, CB21 4JB - 6-7pm

U13 - U15 Players

Wednesday 2nd July - Abbey Pool AstroTurf, Cambridge, CB5 8LN - 6-7pm

The trials will be led by Foundation Development Manager James Cutting, supported by other full-time Academy staff and youth development coaches.

Players attending will receive notification of the outcome of their trial within 7 days via email.

Regional Development Centres - Players train at one of 14 regional venues once per week, whilst continuing to play for their local club side.

Shadow Squad - Players train at one of two regional venues, play for Cambridge United in school holidays, but are still able to play for their local club side.

Academy - Players are not able to play for a local club side and are signed to CUFC. These players train 3 times per week and play matches at weekends.
