Pre-season begins for the U's
THE Cambridge United first-team squad began pre-season training this morning.U's players were put through their paces as they completed the Yo-Yo Intermittent Test at the R Costings Abbey Stadium, before heading to the gym for a weights session and then onto the swimming pool.
United Midfielder, Tom Champion, said: "It's great to be back and see all the lads again as well as meeting all the new boys. Everyone here is buzzing, we've had a great summer break but now we're all focused and can't wait for the season to start."
