Tom Bonner and Delano Sam-Yorke head out on loan
CAMBRIDGE United can confirm that Tom Bonner and Delano Sam-Yorke have both joined Conference Premier sides on loan until January.Tom Bonner who has featured five times for the U's this season makes the move to Dover Athletic, while Delano Sam-Yorke will join Lincoln City after making three appearances this term.
Development players James Akintunde and Matthew Lowe have both joined Southern League Histon on youth loans until January.
Discussing the departures, Director of Football, Jez George, said: "With the signings that we have made in the last ten days, these loan arrangements give Tom and Delano the opportunity to play regular football. We will re-assess the situation for both of them again in January.
The agreement with Histon for James and Matt is perfect for all parties. It will allow both players to get really competitive football at the weekend while still training full time with us and playing in our development matches during the week. We had a good chat with Brian in pre-season and we are pleased to work with a local club to help them and benefit the development of our young players."
