Striker joins Fleet on a months loan

Andy Pugh has joined Conference South side Ebbsfleet United on a one month loan.

Pugh, 24, is yet to make a competitive appearance for the U's this term.

United Head Coach, Richard Money, said:
"We are sending Andy out to get some games.  It's not a long term thing, he's gone to get some games and some match fitness as he has missed a lot of football.  It's about managing the group, we didn't want to get to a situation where we had Elliott, Sam-Yorke and Pugh all needing to come back in to the team to get games."

Money also suggested that other loan moves could be possible:
"You have to make a judgement call on who to let go and get games at certain times, and, because Tom (Elliott) and Delano (Sam-Yorke) weren't fit, if we hadn't have been able to bring in Kwesi (Appiah), Andy would have stayed and maybe wouldn't have got game time and where would that leave him a month down the line.  We have to keep everyone involved and it may well be the case that one or two others need to go out on for a month and get games to keep them match fit and ready for when they are needed for us."
