Tenacious midfielder Adam May joined Cambridge United on an initial one-year deal from Portsmouth on the eve of the 2020/21 season...
Having come through the Pompey Academy, May made 30 appearances for the club, as well as gaining experience with spells at Sutton United and Aldershot Town before arriving in CB5.
Excellent performances saw him trigger an extension to his contract as the U’s won promotion to Sky Bet League One in his first season. Stepping up seamlessly, the number 19 offers robustness in the middle and a trademark goalscoring expertise. In August 2022, he became the newest inductee of the United 100 club.
